Established in 1680, The Lord Poulett Arms is a traditional yet stylish thatched pub, located in the heart of the historic Somerset village of Hinton Saint George, just over two hours from London and thirty-five minutes from Lyme Regis.
Traditional local ales, world-class wines and classic cocktails. Our menus change as frequently as the surrounding Somerset landscape. Meat and game from local farms, fish landed daily on the south coast and fresh leaves picked just a few steps away in the Kitchen Garden. Well-aged steaks served with hand-cut chips, comforting home-cooked pies, indulgent desserts and world-class cheese.
Six bedrooms set within the sixteenth-century inn feature crisp cotton sheets, baths with our own natural products, comforting interiors inspired by the British countryside and views of the ever-changing surroundings.
